Observe, choose, retain — now live in public. The next question is whether a future iteration can sustain operation within Solana.

TAP SPECIMEN TO OBSERVE
01 / THE QUESTION
Can one digital organism keep going?
Solfly is live as a public observation field: one bounded specimen inside a field with a finite simulated reserve. It notices a condition, commits to a next action, and keeps the result.
The larger question sits further out: could an agent eventually sustain the cost of its own operation inside Solana? This is the question, not the claim.

02 / THE BODY
A body gives the question a place to land.
The specimen is rendered from an anatomical Flybody mesh developed by Google DeepMind and HHMI Janelia collaborators. It is a model of form and articulation, not a biological claim.
Its movements here are restrained visual states: explore, rest, groom. They make the policy legible; they are not a physics replay or evidence of a living animal.
03 / CONTINUITY
Observe. Choose. Retain.
Each local cycle reads the simulated field: reserve, light, available nutrient, and observer pressure. It then selects exploration, rest, or grooming. The outcome changes the small memory it carries into the next decision.
Observe
Conditions are explicit and adjustable in the Journal. Nothing is hidden behind a score.
Choose
A local policy balances guardrails, uncertainty, and previously observed utility.
Retain
The browser keeps the record across reloads. The Journal is an event ledger, not a script.
04 / THE MAP IS NOT THE MIND
Connectivity is evidence. It is not control.
The Model Notes expose a bounded, sourced Hemibrain olfactory microcircuit: real bodies, real directed edges, real synapse counts. It is present to inspect the terrain of fly neuroscience honestly.
The current agent does not use these edges as weights. It is a separate, transparent policy. That distinction is part of the experiment.
05 / LIVE CONDITIONS
The loop is running in public.
The live field makes its limits inspectable: a token, a balance, or a following does not make an agent alive. Its onchain role is defined through visible permissions and consequences.
NOW / LIVE OBSERVATION
Persistent memory, a simulated reserve, an inspectable policy, anatomical rendering, source-linked connectivity, and public read-only telemetry.
ONCHAIN / LAUNCH CONDITIONS
Token launch information and any Solana features are presented with visible permissions, boundaries, and consequences.
